Welcome to the

As winter approached, na-nonbus would always be filled with messages about the Ingres Ski team. Now, here's a chance for those of us who choose to live where the earth does not tremble quite as much as it does in California to see the members of the Ingres Ski Team. The photograph was taken in March, 1992. (70kb)

Halloween was always a fun time at Ingres. There were always colorful costumes, and the obligatory party. Here's a picture of Mike Winning dressed up as an old company logo! (35kb)

“It's a database!” “No, it's a dessert topping!” “No, it's the name of a French artist!” One of the museums in Washington, DC has a list of famous artists carved into the stonework on its face. Can you guess what one of the names just happens to be? (29kb)

The grave of Ingres, is at Pére Lachaise cemetery, in Paris. His wife is buried there as well. The cemetery is quite old, and quite full. There are many famous people buried in it, including Oscar Wilde, and Chopin. On the right is a picture of Mike Winning at the grave. (49kb each)

On May 15, 1998, Tom Turchioe, a former Principal Consultant at Ingres, was married. There were a dozen ExIngres folks in attendance to help him celebrate. Do you recognize the people in the picture? The first person to correctly identify everybody will win his choice of an Ingres product, from a list of selected Ingres products. See the ExIngres mailing list for details. (161kb)
